Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that stresses education and common sense. It teaches citizens how to help themselves and their communities by identifying and reporting suspicious activity in their neighborhoods. In addition, it provides citizens with the opportunity to make their neighborhoods safer and improve the quality of life. The Neighborhood Watch meetings are held at each district’s primary fire department.
Sheriff Gary Banks encourages residents to attend these important meetings. It lets others know that crime will not be tolerated as it builds a stronger relationship with law enforcement.
